God vandresti igennem skov og sø landskab
Den ca. 5 km. lange tur fra Bryrup til Vrads station går af en god bred grusvej, gennem skov hvor skovsøerne ligger som perler på en snor.
Ruten starter ved plejehjemmet i Bryrup og altså ikke ved jernbanens start midt i byen.
Landskabet.
Søerne Bryrup Langsø, Kvindsø og Kulsø ligger i en tunneldal. Ved Kulsø deler dalen sig i to løb gennem Snabegård Skov. I det østre løb findes Lystrup Å. I det vestre løb ligger Snabe Igelsø, hvor også Bryrupbanen er anlagt i dalbundens flade terræn. De to løb munder ud i Salten Ådal.
Der er meget historie at fortælle om skovene og søerne. På denne side kan du læse mere om udformningen af landskabet og gode røverhistorier.
Tag et hvil ved Snabe Igelsø og nyd denne fantastiske smukke sø omgivet af høje fyrtræer og mindre birketræer. Det er også muligt at gå rundt om søen.
Vrads Station
En kort distance efter søen dukker den gamle jernbane op. For enden af jernbanen ligger Vrads Stationsbygning som i dag er restaurant. Læs mere om Vrads Station og den gamle jernbane her.
