Here at Holmely you have the opportunity to experience nature up close. Accommodation is offered in a small wooden cabin, glamping, treetop shelter and in B&B. On the large natural plot there is a composting toilet, wilderness bath, campfire and a tackle cabin.

Holmely is the start of a dream to create a small oasis for nature and people. Nature and outdoor life must be at the centre, and it must be easy and convenient for everyone to go on adventures in the countryside.

Accommodation

At the moment accommodation is offered in the annex, glamping tents, treetop shelter and Bed and Breakfast. New concepts are constantly being developed to make spending time in the Danish countryside fun and exciting.

Electric bike tours

Choose between a ready-packaged mini-holiday or a guided electric bike tour. The tours take you out into the beautiful central Jutland countryside and offer local farm shops and tastings of local produce.

Holmely Electric bike tours give you a safe base from which you can explore large parts of central Jutland with the help of an electric bike.
The tours are organized and all the practicalities are arranged for you. You simply check in at Holmely with your practical cycling clothes and whatever else you would pack for a mini-holiday.

Streams & Lakes

This mini-holiday takes you out to beautiful and exciting springs, streams and lakes. You come to the source of Gudenåen and Skjernåen in Tinnet Krat. A short bike ride takes you to historic Rørbæk lake. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and how nature has created historic places.

Gourmet

This mini-holiday takes you out to some of Central Jutland’s finest delicatessen and farm shops located in rural surroundings. The shops ooze with Danish ‘hygge’, local quality goods and inspiring food and drink.

The routes run through the lake highlands with beautiful lakes and forests.

Guided electric bike tours

The electric bikes make it easy to get around our hilly terrain and makes the nature experience much closer and more intense. Smell, listen, taste, see and feel yourself through this guided tour.

Whisky tasting and bonfire food

Settle in and enjoy a Nordic gourmet bonfire set on whiskey and taste the fine drops from Nordic distilleries. The evening will take place in the beautiful wooden barn with lots of chatting and “hygge”.

Gin Walk

All the while we are walking in beautiful countryside, the sense of taste must be put to use. We taste 4 gins from home and abroad and hear some good tall stories along the way.

Beers and bonfire gourmet

Taste beer from the local brewery while the flames crackle and the aroma of an exquisite meal spreads. The conversation turns to the fire and soon you will taste a gourmet meal prepared over the fire.
