Recently renovated Bed and Breakfast
Holmely's large farmhouse has been split into two parts, one of which facing south and west is now a Bed and Breakfast mainly used for guests on e-bike mini holidays and company events. But the calender can be open in between.
In the hallway, the large south-facing living room has been closed off and a door has been put in leading to the private part of the house. From the hallway there is access to the living room, kitchen and newly renovated bathroom. The bathroom makes everyone go "wow", the large turquoise blue tiles and the beautiful wooden table for the sink complement each other nicely. In addition to this are the raw walls and minimalist decor.
The elongated living room with the large display cabinet at one end and the old raw brick wall at the other sets the stage for many new acquaintances and deep conversations. The furniture is a mix from recycling and makes the room cosy and inspiring. The floor has beautiful patterns and the grey/brownish concrete harmonises beautifully with the wood from the furniture and the many green plants.
The kitchen is large and functional. Here is everything you need for catering for up to 25 people.
There is also access to a pleasant, quiet conservatory. The acoustics are so good in this room and you can shut off all sound, which can really lower your heart rate.
From the conservatory there is access to a small, covered courtyard and garden pond with goldfish. Here there is shelter from the west wind, so you can sit out here even in rain and wind.
On the 1st floor there are 3 rooms. Each room has its own theme.
Art deco is a bright room with a window to the south-west. Gold and brass are the main elements in the room, which together with geometric patterns give an atmosphere of magnificent, bygone times.
The Forest room gives you the feeling of lying safely on a soft forest floor. Here, the trees have been moved into the pleasant little room with a window facing south-west.
The Bohemian room is decorated based on French bohemian style. This room is light and is set in dusty colours, which lends it a pleasant, calm atmosphere. The individual style gives the room peace and harmony. The room is large, so there is room for a set of wicker furniture. The window faces north-west and in the summer the rays from the evening sun fall beautifully into the room.
