Fire and view
Pack an extra sweater - and enjoy the view and sunset
From the Glamping tents you have a view of the area with fields, valley and forests. In the field, small footpaths have been laid to the tackle hut, composting toilet and to the large fire pit. The rest of the field has been allowed to grow with grasses, trees and natural plants. The natural flowers and herbs are of great benefit to insects, partridges, birds and mice. Buzzards, sparrow hawks, vipers, partridges, many species of butterflies and, rarely, an osprey are often seen here.
Holmely offers some extremely beautiful sunsets, which are enjoyed to the full by guests, owner and visitors. The view stretches far across fields and valleys, here it is possible for the eye and the mind to expand.
Holmely is located so far from city lighting that it gets really dark here when the sun goes down. Only small lights from the surrounding farms and a small village can be seen. When there is a full moon and the eyes have got used to the darkness, it can almost feel like daylight and it is easy to navigate around without a flashlight.
At the campfire there are small tables, tree stumps to sit on and branches that can be cut into twisted sticks. Sun sails can be placed on posts that provide some shelter from rain and wind.
Group of people travelling together.
There are a total of 3 tents on the field. Three glamping tents for 2 - 4 people, plus the treetop shelter for 2 people - this makes Holmely ideal for a family or friend trip, or for a larger group to go on an experience together.
In the main house there are 3 themed rooms that can sleep 2 people in each. The annex can sleep 2 people.
